Unprofessional waitress. Tried to order a Pizza and a pitcher of beer to watch the Lightening/Black-hawks hockey game last week. Waitress comes to the table 10 minutes after we sat down (the place is small and wasn't busy) and proceeds to take our order. I am in mid-sentence, "We will have a medium cheese pizza and...." when she says, "hold on, I'll be right back..." and walks off, to the bar, and waits on several people at the bar. I sat bewildered by this rudeness and watched as she had a lengthy causal conversation with another patron. I sat and watched for an additional 10 minutes as she chit chatted, brought out a pizza and poured a few beers, and even took another couples order that was seated next to the patron she had been having a conversation with. I was flabbergasted. Who does this. WALKS OFF mid order to wait on other people. When she returned, without an apology, I told her to cancel the order. The average flavored, too small and overpriced pizza is not worth being treated so poorly. Steer clear until they can find decent help.

One pizza in restaurant and thought it was good. Another in and too thin and burned. 3rd pick up and the same. My rating does not jive with the others but we are not returning. Basically a bar with a few tables. There are better choices.

I love this place!!! I'm from Chicago and I'm a pizza fanatic. I called to place an order, the owner stayed late to make me a pie, and a meatball sub. The pizza was out if this world, and the meatball sub was just as good. If you want REAL pizza on the island, please go see these guys!!!!!

Not fancy, but good workmanlike pizza. Sports bar feel with a pool table and lots of TVs. Nice generous wine pour. FYI beer and wine only. Almost did not go as the google reviews were really bad, I trusted the Yelp reviews and glad we did.

Started with caso and chips. Caso was that fake canned stuff that comes in a gallon can at sams club. Not good and don't think it's even cheese. Pizza lets just say DiGearno frozen pizza has more flavor and a better crust, not even mozzarella cheese and still not sure it was even real cheese. Avoid this place unless you want anything other than food. Not even worth the one star. What a disappointment!

We went there the first night of our vacation on AMI. We were starving and wanted to find a kid friendly place. Even though it's not technically kid friendly the waitress was extremely nice with them. We ordered a variety of food: pizzas, burgers , a sandwich and queso and chips. Everything was great and very tasty! There were no leftovers at all. The only thing I didn't care for was the queso. (Another reveiwer thought it was from a can and I have to agree). When we first walked in there is a bad smell and I wanted to leave but I guess we got used to it. Another thing was that the place was really hot inside. Very little temperature difference from outside and that was uncomfortable. But I do recommend this place. The server was great and friendly and didn't bat an eye refilling our drinks over and over. Food was fantastic. I was bummed that I didn't get another chance to visit this trip but definitely will be back next year!

Am I missing something? This pizza was fair. The crust is pre-made (those little crisp wafer thin edges are where a machine stamped out the dough. Salad was kinda crappy. I guess the wings were pretty good from what I heard. Can't attest to that. Give it a big 'meh'

It was ok. It was definitely pre-made crusts that were a little hard. Wings were ok but soggy. Tasted good. Great bar food but probably won't go back.

I enjoyed the pizza very much. We were visiting from Orlando enjoying the beach and thought to our self "let's get some local pizza" it was right by us! Awesome staff, very friendly. I might come back just for the pizza.

We were craving pizza, and the pizza buffet bar we wanted to go to closed ridiculously early. My sister found this place that was opened until 11:30 p.m. We arrived, and the bartender, who I think was the owner, sat us down. He got our drink order right away. He also came back to take our order. I was impressed because it was only him, and he was super fast. We got our four pizzas, and they were amazing. I had to tell myself to stop eating it because I just wanted more and more. We had some leftovers and it was just as good as the first day. Super happy!

If you love the pizza box then you'll love this pizza because it tastes the same. The menu says handmade pizza but there is nothing handmade about the crust. I have to agree with a previous post. Save your tastebuds and get a frozen pizza from Publix.

I've been eating pizza here forever when we vacation on the island. It's the best on the island. Thin crust, great sauce, and just the right amount of grease on the pie.

Looking on Trip Advisor, I had to check photos to make sure I was reviewing the right business. People were raving about the pizza but I did not care for it at all. I should have gotten some frozen pizzas from Publix instead. The crust was VERY tough and the toppings were sparse. Nothing seemed fresh about this pizza. I also gave $40 for 2 pizzas and a salad- steep for what I got. Seriously, don't get the pizza. As for the place itself- very clean and the bartender was very attentive. It had a nice, relaxed atomosphere. The pizza just sucked.

The pizza was great, would definitely eat there again. I just hope different people are working. There was two people working one was really trying and nice, the other was very rude and kept walking around saying "Jesus Christ" regarding everything and everyone....If you can get past bad service then definitely eat here!

Very nice pizza; the best mushroom I have ever had. The Cabernet was too fruity and I would not get again. Service was average plus. Only a few rational, non-bar places to sit. Prices are motivating, so yes, a good place to go.

Ate there on our vacation on Anna Marie Isle. Food was good for thin crust pizza. A little under cooked for my taste, but still had good sauce and fresh toppings. Kids had burgers, nice size for kids. Only other issue was one of the waitresses was rude when we asked her a question. She ended up not serving us but I thought it uncalled for.

The pizza crust tastes like it is frozen, not freshly made. The toppings are good but again it is put on a machine made frozen crust. The beer was good and cold.

Ordered a pizza our first night here after a long ride. pizza was very good not your usual crust (from NY and have spent 25 years in a family Italian restaurant) the sauce was good had enough cheese and crispy crust which stayed crisp in the box. I was a little surprised (I had phone ordered) and was expecting a pizza place but it is more bar rest. Very clean and neat run by a very personable young woman. I would seek this place out. Job well done!

Awful pizza. Was not looking for gourmet, just average pizza. This was the worst pizza ever. Had one piece bec I was hungry & threw out the rest. Don't waste your money.

Got nervous after reading the only other review on Yelp (we had already sat down and ordered) but this place is quite good! The pizza here is thin-crust and crispy - and they had a very nice IPA on draft. The service was great - the owner was super-friendly and had a good time with our kids. One warning - if you order the house salad, be prepared for loads of hot peppers and olives - not what you'd usually expect from a house.

Solo's is a fantastic little "dive" on Anna Maria. Everyone that I've taken there has agreed that the pizza, service and atmosphere are all excellent. Jen's review should be discarded as her taste buds are obviously malfunctioning! Some of the best pizza I have ever had and I've heard the Philly Cheese Steak is fabulous, as well. Visit Solo's with confidence and Shawn (the owner) will take great care of you!

If you like Saltine crackers, then you will like this pizza. The crust is like one giant soft Saltine--I didn't care for it at all. They skimped on the sauce and I am a huge fan of lots of sauce, so strike two. The pepperoni was spicy but I wouldn't order this pizza again.
